Description
It works!
I heard that zooming into an object and just stepping back from it causes that nice stillness of the picture and blur of the background, i like it.
There\'s probably a better way to describe that then \"stillness\" and \"blur\" oh well

Well, it is depth of field. It is determined by the f-number (aperture of the diafragm, in this picture is f/5.0), the shutter speed (here is 1/180) and focal lenght (that is the distance between the camera and the object).
When you use a reflex camera or a proffesional digital camera you can control shutter speed and f-number, and with it to control depth of field (that is, what objects are clear, and what is blurred, or to make a picture where everything is clear).
Like normal digital cameras cannot control these factors you must use some tricks, like this one (i did not know it).
Anyway, it is a beautiful picture
